Overview

For this dynamic collaboration between Abra Cadabra and Popcaan, I was responsible for the colour grade that fused their distinct styles into one seamless visual experience. The goal was to match the music’s energy while elevating the video’s mood and atmosphere between London & Jamaica.

Challenges & Approach

Balancing two unique artist aesthetics required a thoughtful grade that preserved the vibrancy of dancehall beats alongside the raw edge of UK rap. I carefully crafted tones to enhance skin hues and environmental elements, creating a cohesive yet dynamic look.

The result

The final grade elevated the video’s cinematic quality, enhancing audience engagement and reinforcing both artists’ brands. This project exemplifies my ability to adapt color grading to varied musical genres and high-profile collaborations.
