Co-op x Big Zuu

Overview

As Offline Editor, I was part of a fast-paced TV ad campaign for Co-op in partnership with Hubbub, aimed at tackling food waste and supporting local communities through their Fridges initiative.

Challenges & Approach

Working in real time as footage came in, I edited a 10-second TV spot on-site, incorporating live feedback from the director, client and agency. Featuring grime artist Big Zuu and a next-day follow-up with Dermot O’Leary for a live broadcast, the shoot took place at the Afghanistan & Central Asian Association in Feltham, bringing authenticity to the narrative.

Results

The commercial aired nationally, and for me personally, it was another proud moment seeing my work broadcast across the UK. With a 50-person crew for a 10-second ad, the experience sharpened my adaptability and reinforced how much quality can be packed into even the shortest runtime.
