Overview
I was brought on by OK! Magazine to film behind-the-scenes content and talent interviews during their front cover shoots with some of the UK’s most recognizable personalities. The footage was distributed across the magazine’s website, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to support each cover reveal.
Challenges & Approach
With minimal setup me and tight editorial deadlines, the priority was to capture polished, engaging footage in fast-paced environments, without disrupting the flow of the main shoot. I directed the interviews and filmed cinematic BTS content, always framing each moment with the magazine’s tone and social media formats in mind.
The result
Over the span of multiple campaigns, I filmed talent including Ferne McCann, Charley Webb, Lewis Reeves, Angela Scanlon, Lisa Snowdon, Danielle Harold, Chloe Madeley & James Haskell, Kelly Somers, the 2023 Married at First Sight brides, and Love Island’s Sammy & Jess, Molly Marsh, and Zach Noble. My work consistently helped OK! drive engagement across platforms and humanize the faces behind the covers, turning press into personality.
